Adolescent Relationships in Context Lab
Department of Psychology
Wayne State University
Development
We study adolescent social-emotional development and health. Our research examines when and why adolescents’ relationships with their peers, parents, and romantic partners affect their psychological and physical well-being.
CONTEXT
We prioritize research that captures the experiences of diverse youth in real-world settings. Therefore, most of our research takes place out of the lab and in adolescents’ everyday school, home, and online environments.
Mission
We are committed to conducting rigorous scientific research in order to improve the lives of adolescents. Our goal is to illuminate practical solutions for pressing social issues facing today’s youth, such as bullying, discrimination, and dating violence.
